Jagan flays Finance Minister RN Reddy

YSR party president YS.Jagan Mohan Reddy during his one-day dharna at Narsapur demanding abolishing 5% VAT on textile business, flays the Government. Quoting Finance Minister Anam Rami Narayana Reddy, 'Our Minister has said that, the Government has introduced VAT on textiles just three months ago, where as actually it has comes into effect from July. I want to ask him whether he really know from when the VAT was levied on the textile business or is he trying to bluff the people with his ignorance? When the Government is collecting VAT from July that is six months back, then why is he trying to bluff the people with his statements?

"There should be a similar tax structure all over the country. I want to know, how our state Government justifies its decision of levying 5% VAT in our state only. So, I demand to abolish the VAT on textiles immediately or else we are going to intensify our agitations. It will end only after dethroning the present Government," said YS.Jagan Mohan Reddy.

CM dubs Naidu, Jagan as 'devils chanting Vedas'

2012/5/16 7:03:58 Nellore, May 16 (INN): Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy on Wednesday said that the Congress party need not take lessons from Telugu Desam president N Chandrababu Naidu or Y S R Congress Party president Jagan Mohan Reddy.

He accused Naidu and Jagan for hatching a conspiracy to destabilize his government by introducing No Confidence Motion on farmers’ issue. Stating that both the leaders have no moral right to speak against corruption, he said that it was nothing but "devils chanting Vedas".

Stating that Congress nominee from Nellore Lok Sabha seat T Subbarami Reddy has brought international recognition to Visakhapatnam district by taking up many development works, Kiran Kumar Reddy said that Subbarami Reddy would develop Nellore district in a similar manner, if elected in by-elections.

Reminding the people that Subbarami Reddy established an electrical equipment factory with an estimated cost of Rs 1400 crores, he said that the district would get medical college and railway line for Srikalahasti-Nadikudi.

    Vivekananda Reddy flays cong.leaders

2011/8/11 10:26:57 YS.Vivekananda Reddy, who contested against his sister-in-law YS.Vijaya Lakshmi in Pulivendhula constituency but was defeated by her during the recent bye-elections, has been maintaining silence until now. But, he suddenly appears beside his nephew YS. Jagan Mohan Reddy while he is unveiling the statue of late YSR at Pulivendhula during his tour in Kadapa district. It is indeed a pleasant surprise for Jagan to see his uncle standing beside him after a long time. Not only that, Vivekananda Reddy also flayed the Congress leaders for trying to tarnish his brother late YSRs image. He said whatever, he did was for the sake of the poor people and it was not an individual decision but a collective decision taken by the whole cabinet. Vivekananda Reddy also said that people and the god only know that his brother late YSR is honest and was not involved in any illegal affairs.

    YSRC flays CM, Chiru

2012/5/11 7:13:20 Hyderabad, May 11 (INN): YSR Congress Party today came down heavily on Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy and Chiranjeevi for their 'uncharitable remarks' on YS Jagan Mohan Reddy.

“The two leaders saying that the elections have come only because of the selfishness of Jagan Mohan Reddy is not acceptable as the governance has taken the backseat in the state with the chief minister being busy in his Delhi trips en route Chennai to please the high command and safeguard his own post,” party spokesperson Bajireddy Goverdhan told reporters here.

Development has taken a back seat as the State, which had seen two nominated chief ministers and the welfare activities have come to a standstill after the death of YSR.

Though the chief minister said that the government has not done away with the YSR welfare schemes, let the government spell out as to what it has done for farmers with the onset of monsoon close-by and the month of June is fast approaching.

While the farmers, women, students and other sections are left in the lurch, Congress has tied-up with TDP to sling mud on YS Jagan Mohan Reddy. The fact can be verified by the echo statements Congress leaders are making after they originate from the TDP camp, he said.

YS Jagan Mohan Reddy has left the Congress to form YSR Congress after differences with Sonia Gandhi on the Odarpu Yatra and ever since he has been with the people, while the nominated chief minister has been away from the people and people are away from TDP leader N Chandrababu Naidu.

In this backdrop, a clear cut conspiracy has been hatched by the Congress high command with the state party unit, TDP and two media houses that are opposed to YSRC to unleash a propaganda and try to defame YS Jagan Mohan Reddy through backdoor as they cannot afford to face him politically or in the media competition, he said.

Despite all the hurdles, people are vigilant and are aware of the facts. The faith of the people will reflect in the June12 mandate as YSRC will win all the seats and the two parties will be taught a fitting lesson, he said.

TDP accuses UPA of pressurising CBI in Jagan's case

2012/5/8 7:22:08 Hyderabad, May 8 (INN): The Telugu Desam party on Tuesday accused the Congress-led UPA Government for mounting pressure on the Central Bureau of Investigation for not arresting Kadapa MP Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy in the disproportionate assets case.

Talking to media persons at the Telugu Desam Legislature Party office, TDP MLAs Devineni Uma, B Durgaprasad and M Lingareddy accused the UPA Government of not giving freehand to the CBI to arrest Jagan. Though the CBI has named Jagan as the Accused Number 1 in its charge sheet submitted to the court, they asked as to why the probing agency failed to arrest him.

They asked why the CBI was showing discrimination in the arrest of Jagan despite arresting other accused in the case. They alleged that the CBI was not arresting Jagan as he had good relationship with Union Finance Minister Pranab Mukherjee, Union Home Minister P Chidambaram and political advisor to Congress president Sonia Gandhi, Ahmed Patel.

They said that the CBI should get warrant from the court to arrest Jagan.

Jagan is both megastar and superstar

2007/12/21 5:18:37 Y S Jaganmohan Reddy, son of chief minister Y S Rajashekar Reddy turned 35 today. His followers fondly call him as Boss. Jagan is now slowly turning into a big celebrity in his own right. He has many successful businesses up and running and having someone like Y S Rajashekar Reddy as father and chief minister only helps.

Jagan has now built up a loyal fan base with his Jagan Yuva Sena. He is involved in many charitable works. But the works are now restricted to just his native place, Kadapa, but will be extended slowly to other parts of the state.

The amount of publicity and hype created by his followers in the media and elsewhere on the occasion of his birthday makes one wonder if Jagan is some sort of a big celebrity like Chiru and Rajni. But as far as his followers are concerned, Jagan is both a megastar as well as a superstar.

DL Ravindra Reddy regrets criticizing Jagan

    2011/4/8 7:25:18

Minister DL Ravindra Reddy was the foremost in criticizing YS Jagan. In fact, DLR made it to the cabinet of Kiran Kumar Reddy because of his record of criticizing Jagan day in and day out.

The same thing has now proved costly for DL Ravindra Reddy. The congress party after failing to find a suitable candidate to contest against Jagan in Kadapa has literally forced DLR to contest.

DLR is unhappy but he can do little about it. He is now trying to put up a brave front saying that he will beat Jagan etc. etc. DLR has been made a bakra by the congress for sure! DLR has no one but himself to blame for this.

Talking to media persons, Ravindra Reddy refuted their charges and stated that terming him as Jagan's cohort indicates their weak mindset against him. He said that the MLAs, who were hungry for power, has no moral right to make comments on him. Instead, he alleged Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy was a 'cohort' of Jagan Mohan Reddy.

Ravindra Reddy asked as to why Kiran Kumar Reddy did not make any remarks against Jagan. He challenged Kiran Kumar Reddy to criticise Jagan openly. He alleged that the Chief Minister has appealed to Speaker Nadendla Manohar not to disqualify Jagan group MLAs Srikanth Reddy and Srinivasulu and he has clear evidence to prove this.

Stating that he had not begged with anyone seeking Minister's post, he said that he was ready to face any king of probe regarding alleged irregularities in his department. He hoped that the high command would initiate serious action against the rebel Congress leaders after the by-elections concludes on June 12.

    YSR Cong flays Congress party

2012/2/9 14:44:46 The YSR Congress party on Thursday alleged the House Committee on land allotments, which was constituted by Speaker Nandendla Manohar on Wednesday, was aimed at defaming former Chief Minister YS Rajasekhara Reddy.

Talking to reporters at the YSR Congress party office here, MLC Jupudi Prabhakar said that the committee has been constituted to specifically target the allotments done during the regime of YSR. He said that was the reason why the committee was given generic terms of reference. He suspected that the committee would defame YSR and Jagan Mohan Reddy in an organised manner.

    Jagan phobia in Congress party

2011/4/7 20:56:23 The century old Congress party has no candidates to field against YS.Jagan Mohan Reddy in the Kadapa by-elections. Although, it managed to pull out Kandhula brothers out from Telugu Desam party it couldnt convince them to contest against YS.Jagan Mohan Reddy in Kadapa Lok Sabha constituency. The Jagan phobia is so immense in the Congress party, that many of the senior Congress leaders are avoiding direct contact with Chief Minister Kiran Kumar Reddy and PCC president D.Srinivas, fearing a request from them to take upon YS.Jagan Mohan Reddy in the by-elections.

Finally, Chief Minister makes his own minister Dr.DL.Ravindra Reddy as scapegoat in this issue. Earlier, several times DL has thrown challenges to Jagan Mohan Reddy to face him if he can in the elections. Now, though he is not all interested, he was forced to contest against Jagan for the same reasons.

There were times when many of the Congress leaders have repeatedly stated that, Kadapa district is not Jagans own property and even if an office peon stands on Congress behalf, he can win in the elections in Kadapa. Congress is going to wipe off Jagans newly launched political party in these by-elections and so on. But, when it comes to reality the situation is different. No one is available for Congress party to take upon Jagan. What if, YS.Vivekananada Reddy too denies to contest in the elections?

Naxal leader flays KCR and Kodhandaram!

2012/1/27 9:18:05 The honeymoon between Maoists and TRS party has come to an end with the failure of month long general strike by Telangana employees headed by KCR and Prof. Kodhandaram. TDP has alleged that, both of they have pledged the Telangana agitation to Center to bag Polavaram tenders. During the later period, media also reports the same. By latest, the North Telangana wing Maoist leader Jagan has heavily comes down on KCR and Prof. Kodhandaram on the same reasons. Leading Telugu daily Andhala Jyothi in its Friday's edition has published an article about their telephonic interview with Maoist leader Jagan.

In his interview given to AJ Jagan flays KCR and Prof. Kodhandaram for utilizing Telangana agitations to achieve their political goals. "KCR and all other Telangana leaders are bluffing the people with their fake resignation dramas and fake fights with Seemandhra leaders. When the New Delhi is ready to take a favorable decision on Telangana issue, KCR, Prof. Kodhandaram and Swamy Goud have withdraws the agitations to bag Polvaram Tenders. It is nothing but selling off the people's agitation.

    TRS retards:
Senior TRS leader Nayini Narisimha Reddy sharply reacting to Jagan's allegations, "They lost their identity in the state. That's why they make such allegations to reveal their presence. If, they think that we have betrayed the Telangana people, then why don't they come into mainstream and show their power? I don't think no one else could run the agitations like us. KCR and Prof. Kodhandaram have dedicated their lives for Telangana. Maoists would have refrain from making such allegations."

The verbal-war reaches its peak with some TRS leaders at Narayankhed Mandal in Medak district burning the effigy of Maoist leader Jagan.

YSR Cong slams media for anti-Jagan stories

2012/2/19 6:39:02 YSR Congress party spokesperson Gattu Ramachandra Rao on Sunday accused the media of misusing the freedom of expression and publishing false reports against Jagan Mohan Reddy.

Talking to media persons at YSR Congress party office, he said that a section of media has engaged all its energies to tarnish the image of Jagan Mohan Reddy. He alleged that anti-Jagan news reports were part of a conspiracy hatched by Telugu Desam president N Chandrababu Naidu. Quoting a media report, he asked the media to disclose the sources who claimed that Jagan would be arrested in March month. He asked whether media got any tip offs from the CBI about Jagan's arrest. Further, he asked the media to explain as to how Jagan would lose people's sympathy after the arrest.

Ramchandra Rao said although the State Budget presented by Finance Minister Anam Ramnarayana Reddy was 'anti-people' and 'anti-welfare,’ the media did not carry any critical analysis. Instead, some publications have been carrying 'baseless' reports against Jagan Mohan Reddy to tarnish his image.

The YSR Congress party spokesperson also asked as to why the CBI was not responding to 'speculative' stories being published about its investigation in various cases.

Ramchandra Rao alleged that the TDP chief has launched this campaign using media to divert attention of people from the leaders of his party who were involved in liquor scam and due to by-elections in the Telangana region. He said that the people would lose faith on media if it continues anti-Jagan campaign shunning basic principles. (INN)
