The TDP chief Chandra Babu Naidu tried to pull a fast one on chief minister Y S Rajashekar Reddy by staging a dharna at the assembly. He even slept in the assembly premises overnight and had his morning ablutions. The TDP members attended the assembly without going home.
But all that Babu managed was a small story in the inside pages. He thought that his act would fetch him banner headlines and even the national if nor international media would highlight his act of sleeping in the assembly premises.
Babu is by no means anywhere close to the legendary N T Rama Rao. When N T Ram Rao staged dharna by squatting on the road on tank bund, it was a big issue. The entire city came to a halt and his act got wide publicity. In the end, Babu has failed to achieve anything concrete on the minimum support price issue for paddy
The drama enacted by the Telangana congress MPs has been concluded successfully. It is clear that it was scripted and played up perfectly. The high command did not want the credit for lifting the cases against the students to go to the TRS. So it asked its MPs to stage a drama of indefinite fast.
The government moved in quickly and after the T ministers met the home minister and the chief minister a solution was reached! That it was all a big drama can be seen by everyone by the way the government moved in swiftly and took a decision that has been pending for almost a year now.

After his arrival in Hyderabad, he rushed to the late PJR’s residence and consoled Vishnuvardhan Reddy, son of PJR and other family members of PJR. Babu also made a comment to the effect that if only timely medical aid was given, PJR would have survived.

Executive producer Soma Vijayprakash says, 'The role played by star comedian Brahmanandam would make the audiences burst into laughter. The film would be a very big entertainer. We are planning to can the climax song by the end of January.
We will soon launch the audio and release the film in February.' Director says, 'My earlier film 'Sriramachandrulu' was big hit and it has complete comedy right from the start to finish and this film would also earn me a similar name.' Brahmanandam, Sivaji, Ravikrishna, Sameeksha, Dharmavarapu Subrahmanyam, Ranganath, Ali, AVS, Sivajiraja, Jeeva, Allari Ravi, Raghu, Kamal, Sudarshan, Sasirekha, Apoorva and others are in the cast. Swagatham is hero Jagapathi Babu's 75th film. The actor has come up with another winning performance. As usual, the film is a complete family drama with good family values, emotions, sentiment and comedy.

The TDP chief Chandarababu Naidu has a bit of advice to the youth He has asked them to shun frequenting bars and pubs. He said that such acts are not in tune with our culture and tradition.
The youngsters’ today are spoiling their future by indulging in activities that are detrimental to their health. We should not ape the West blindly, was his advice to the current generation. Well said, Babu. But the present proliferation of bars, pubs and belt shops are all a result of your new excise policy.

Babu went around the town in a highly decorated bullock cart. Babu was also seen wielding the whiplash and driving the bullock cart. The spectacle was amusing, to say the least. Babu once aging reiterated his demand for MSP for paddy to be raised to 1,000 rupees.
Once again Charmi’s Mangala film which was released today has proved that, pre-release hype will be a big disadvantage for any film. Her success ‘Mantra’ seems to be not worked with her ‘Mangala.’ There were high expectations from the audiences over this film, as the film makers were able to create enough hype for their film. But, the end result is not so encouraging. The talk is average.
Let us see what went wrong with Mangala. Story in brief:
Charmi is a film heroine in this film. Her die-hard fan Vijaya Sai who had an ambition to present a car to his favorite heroine Mangala (Charmi), got the money from his father Pradeep Rawat who is a witch master. But, when he went to meet Mangala to present the car to her, he was mistakenly blamed by her for mobbing her. Then, her care taker cum car driver Subhash beat him black and blue. Therefore, he unable to bear the insult make suicide attempt. Though, he fails in his attempt his condition deteriorates and counting his last minutes.
His father Pradeep Rawat to save his son makes desperate attempts to contact Charmi whom he believed that, she is the only person who can save his son’s life. But, Charmi told him that she couldn’t visit his son as she is busy with film shootings. Pradeep Rawat become furious with his beloved son’s death and to take revenge on Charmi he use ‘Sakuchi’ witch craft magic against the heroine Charmi.
How ‘Sakuchi’ affects Charmi, her terrifying behavior and how did she overcome the ‘Sakuchi’ affect is rest of the story.
Back ground music plays vital role for any horror or thriller films. Here in Mangala’s case also, its music director Viswa enhanced the horror affects with his stunning music. Editing and Art departments have contributed a lot to this. But, some minute flaws in Camera work downplay the game.
Director Osho Tulasiram runs the first half of the film with tight screen play and created hype. But, he got distracted with his story line and indulged in several unnecessary scenes in the second half of the film, giving a negative result to his film.
His idea to introduce two ‘Maha…Maha…like songs’ instead of one, expecting a double bonanza yields nothing in return to his film.
Overall, the film is one good attempt made with so many flaws. It can be rated as ‘Average’ film.
Mohanlal is back on stage again. Yes, the veteran actor has appeared in a full- fledged stage drama Chayamukhi at Trissure convention centre after a long gap and the viewers enjoyed the actor's flawless live performance on stage. Mohanlal played the role of Bheema in this Mahabaratham based drama.
Produced by actor Mukesh's Kalidasa Visual Magic, the story revolves around the Great epic Mahabharath. According to the story, Chayamukhi is a mirror given to Bheema by Hidumbi (in Virataparvam) that enables the viewer to see the image of the person loves the most.
Directed by Prasanth Narayanan, the drama has 24 prominent actors like Mukesh in important characters. Mukesh plays the role of the kind man in this play. Before came to the stage, Mohanlal and his crew have rehearsed for sixty days to present the drama perfectly. There are 14 songs also took place in its Trissure edition.

The unnecessary hype created by media virtually brings the country to stand still all these days. But, the people of India proved that they remain united and can withstand any adverse situation.
