Sunil Reddy, one of the key aides of YS Jagan Mohan Reddy was taken into custody by CBI sleuths in the early morning on Tuesday to interrogate him in connection with Emmar Properties. However, they neither served him an arrest warrant nor given his family any explanation for his custody. They arrived at his home around 5am today and taken him to somewhere. Later, they bring him home and interrogates for an hour or so before his family members. Then, they have told his family that they are taking him to CBI office Dilkusha Guest House. Their sudden visit in the early morning and their consequent movements worries his family members but can't help. Right now, Sunil Reddy is still said to be in CBI custody and no other information has comes out about the interrogation or CBI's next move. Even before, the CBI say anything to media or to court, the over enthusiastic TDP leader Gali Muddukrishnam Naidu has hurriedly comes to media to announce that 'Jagan would be the next person to be arrested by CBI.'
2012/1/25 11:51:29 Sunil Reddy, an accused in the Emaar case, being shifted to the Chanchalguda Jail here on Wednesday. Sunil, a close aide of YSR Congress party president Jagan Mohan Reddy, was arrested by the CBI on Tuesday.
2012/1/25 11:41:06 The Special CBI court on Wednesday remanded Sunil Reddy, who was arrested by CBI sleuths on Tuesday in connection with the Emaar case, to judicial custody till February 1.
The CBI officials produced Sunil Reddy, a businessman and close aide of YSR Congress president Jagan Mohan Reddy, before the court in connection with the Emaar case. The CBI has registered cases against him under Sections 120 B (criminal conspiracy), 406 (criminal breach of trust), 420 (cheating) and 477 (fraudulent cancellation, destruction etc) of the Indian Penal Code.

2012/1/25 5:44:26 Sunil Reddy the close aide of YS Jagan Mohan Reddy, who is now under CBI custody, will be presented before Nampally Court today. CBI told the media it has arrested him in connection Emmar properties.
Reacting on his arrest YS Jagan Mohan Reddy said, CBI is harassing him and friends in the name of interrogation. He alleges that TDP and Congress parties have joined hands to create troubles for him.
An article with a heading 'Instead of harassing like this why don't you shoot me at once?' was published in today edition of his Sakshi news paper, which indicates his frustration over CBI interrogations.
Especially, the stories being published and aired by his rival media groups not only creates pressure on him but also tarnishing Jagan's image. Perhaps, it is because of the success of Sakshi news might have impacted their businesses. But, what makes the two major political parties of the state Congress and TDP feel happy for this development?
Both these parties nowadays are suffering with many problems like dissidence and loosing grip in Telangana region etc. Unless, the media catch-up with some spicy news like Sunil Reddy's arrest, both these parties will remain a soft target for media. So, when the media shifted its focus on to Sunil and Jagan Mohan Reddy, it obviously give them a great relief.
At the same time, all these developments definitely creates some pressure on Jagan Mohan Reddy and force him to react on every arrest made by CBI, which again gives required stuff to his rivals.
2012/2/22 3:15:03 The CBI special court on Wednesday adjourned the hearing on bail petition of N Sunil Reddy, a close aide of Kadapa MP Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy and accused in Emaar Properties case, to February 27.
The special court gave these directions when the Chanchalguda Jail officials presented Sunil Reddy in the court. Sunil Reddy's counsel stated that his client never collected any money with regard to the township project as being alleged by the CBI and sought bail for his client.
However, the CBI counsel stated that 102 villa were sold by Emaar Hills Township Pvt Ltd through Stylish Homes Real Estate Pvt Ltd and Rs 4,000 to Rs 45,000 per sq yard were collected in excess from the buyers over the documented rate of Rs 5,000 per sq yard. The counsel said that the money was then passed on to Koneru Prasad and Sunil Reddy.
After hearing the arguments from both sides, the court adjourned the bail petition of Sunil Reddy to February 27. (INN)
Emaar case: Sunil's bail petition hearing adjourned to March 5
2012/2/27 2:50:14 Hyderabad, Feb 27 (INN): The CBI special court on Monday adjourned the hearing on bail petition of N Sunil Reddy, a close aide of Kadapa MP Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy and accused in Emaar Properties, to March 5.
Meanwhile, the CBI filed a counter petition in the court opposing bail for Sunil Reddy. In its counter petition, the CBI feared that Sunil Reddy might tamper with the evidence and influence the witnesses if granted bail. After hearing the CBI's arguments, the court adjourned the next hearing to March 5.
Earlier, Sunil Reddy's counsel stated that his client never collected money with regard to the township project as being alleged by the probing agency.
However, the CBI stated that 102 villas were sold by Emaar Hills Township Pvt Ltd through Stylish Homes Real Estate Pvt Ltd and Rs 4,000 to Rs 45,000 per sq yard was collected in excess from the buyers over the documented rate of Rs 5,000 per sq yard. The counsel said that the money was then passed on to Koneru Prasad and Sunil Reddy.
2012/1/26 7:59:38 Ever since Jagan's close aide Sunil Reddy arrested by CBI two days ago, the media and Jagan Mohan Reddy rivals in TDP and Congress parties seem to be in celebrating mood as if all of they have won a battle on Jagan. This itself proves how the rest feel unsecured and disturbed with Jagan's growing popularity in the state. While some sections in the powerful media are trying to develop a new story out of Sunil Reddy's arrest, so as they can square Jagan Mohan Reddy. TDP and Congress parties are utilizing this opportunity keep attacking their common enemy Jagan Mohan Reddy, who pose a big threat to their political survival in the state.
Since the media is virtually divided into political groups, before coming to any conclusion on any news report, it become very necessary to read the other side of it to have a full idea about the news.
According to our sources, we have some interesting information about CBI interrogation of Vijay Sai Reddy. We might have read that some sections in media reporting 'Vijay Sai Reddy has given some incriminating evidence against Jagan Mohan Reddy. But, it is absolutely a false report. The CBI tried their level best to get Vijay Sai Reddy say what they wanted to hear. But they were not successful. He has categorically said before the judge that there is nothing more to say and also filed a similar petition. He also complained to the court that the CBI is strategically leaking that he has revealed something about Jagan and his companies regarding illegal transactions to selected media. Vijay Sai Reddy absolutely denies all of it in his petition.
We also might have read about CBI planning Narco analysis on Vijay Sai Reddy. But, the media which very well knows about the Supreme Court ruling that Narco analysis is not permissible on any person (This ruling given on May 5th 2010) has conveniently ignored or preferred to keep the people in dark about it and reports that CBI is all set to go for Narco analysis on Vijay Sai Reddy. It is pity and surprising that even our CBI JD Lakshmi Narayana is also unaware of that fact and requested for it. Even if CBI got permission it can't go for the Narco analysis without the concerned person's consent, as per Supreme Court directions. Any attempt in that direction would be nothing but convicting the court orders. Hope CBI won't take that risk. When, CBI is not sure about conducting Narco analysis on Vijay Sai Reddy then how some sections of the media dares to declare about it?
Regarding Sunil Reddy’s arrest also some sections in the media shown over enthusiasm. They not only relate Sunil Reddy to YS Jagan Mohan Reddy but also link him in his business affairs. Then it was reported that CBI has interrogated and arrests him under several charges, where as CBI JD Lakshmi Narayana has stated that they have arrested Sunil Reddy based upon a statement made by another accused. It reveals that CBI has no solid proofs of Sunil Reddy involvement in any conspiracy. All these developments are simply built-up on a statement made by another accused and not because CBI has any solid evidences in its hands. The immense pressure created on Sunil Reddy by CBI interrogation or by the media reports is only to make him an approver against YS Jagan Mohan Reddy.
Some politicians and their pro-media have already gave their judgment about Jagan's arrest. When, the case is in the court, it is surprising how one can give their verdict on the case. Is it not prejudice and attempt of influencing the courts?
Even after 300 hours of continuous interrogating Vijay Sai Reddy, CBI couldn't turn him into an approver against Jagan Mohan Reddy. Having failed to do so, they have arrested him expecting to extract something against Jagan Mohan Reddy. That also failed as well. So, next they have tried the same with Sunil Reddy and said to be assuring him that, if he named Jagan Mohan Reddy, he would be allowed to get a bail. That is the reason for T. Ranga Rao applied for anticipatory bail and CBI most probably not opposing it. In a hurry CBI has goofed up the case. In even OMC case CBI tried allot to name Jagan but failed miserably. So, all it depends on how CBI manages Sunil Reddy in its interrogation and on his stamina to withstand the pressures. Let's hope to for the best.

He took exception to Jagan Mohan Reddy taking the side of Gali brothers despite knowing well their activities caused huge losses to the state's exchequer.
Dr Dr Ravindra Reddy also alleged that Jagan Mohan Reddy derived undue favours from the position of his father and former chief minister YS Rajasekhara Reddy who allowed illegal land allotments to his son and his business associates on a quid pro quo basis which resulted in heavy loss to the state. (INN)
2012/5/17 6:56:25 Hyderabad, May 17 (INN): Congress MLC and senior leader Paladugu Venkat Rao on Thursday blamed YSR Congress president and Kadapa MP Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy for causing the by-elections in the State.

The special court granted two-and-half days' CBI custody to Sunil Reddy and asked the CBI official to produce him before the court on Monday by 2 pm. Earlier, the investigating agency sought 15 days custody to interrogate Sunil Reddy on various Emaar deals. However, the court granted only two-and-half day custody. The CBI in its petition stated that Sunil Reddy tried to evade arrest by frequently changing his residence.
However, Sunil Reddy himself came to the Dilkusha Guest House, CBI's temporary headquarters, on January 24. Based on the evidences that the CBI possessed against him, he was arrested.

2011/8/17 7:45:12 The Central Bureau of Investigation on Wednesday filed a First Information Report (FIR) against YS Jagan Mohan Reddy in the illegal assets case. The CBI has initiated the inquiry following an order from the High Court.
CBI's joint director VV Lakshmi Narayana earlier held discussions with the local authorities.
Based on separate petitions filed by Textile Minister Dr. P. Shankar Rao and TDP leader K. Yerran Naidu, the AP High Court had ordered the CBI to probe the alleged illegal assets that the Kadapa MP had amassed during his father's regime as the Chief Minister.
After the registration of FIR, there are speculations that Jagan Mohan Reddy might be arrested. The political analysts are also doing an analysis of a possible outcome of Jagan's arrests and the CBI case. In all likelihood, Jagan is likely to drag several leaders who were members of YSR cabinet into the controversy. Jagan has already stated that the entire cabinet of YSR must be held responsible for any decision taken during his regime.
The ongoing week is likely to be full of action with the possibilities of CBI arresting Jagan Mohan Reddy or conducted search in his premises at a large scale. (INN)
2010/12/26 6:03:30 Even as the Congress is finding it tough to deal with Jaganmohan Reddy, sources close to K V P Ramachandra Rao are lobbying that the latter be appointed as Pradesh Congress Committee (PCC) chief. Ramachandra Rao - popularly known as KVP- was the close aide and advisor of the late chief minister Y S Rajasekhara Reddy.
The line being sold by KVP's friends is that he is close to the YSR family and, therefore, knows Jagan closely. This knowledge about Jagan would help him to stymie the YSR scion's rise because "knowledge is power."
The PCC chief's post is up for grabs and due to the inability of the Congress high command to decide on a suitable successor, the incumbent (D Srinivas) is continuing. The high command is looking for a person who can galvanise the party into action for the 2014 election, work closely with CM Kiran and cut Jagan to size.

Talking to media persons, Kesav suspected that Vijai Sai Reddy might have written the letter to the CBI seeking protection at the instance of Jagan Mohan Reddy only. However, he said Vijai Sai Reddy must be provided sufficient protection as his disclosures would help the CBI crack the Jagan’s assets case and also the Emaar Properties case.
Kesav denied reports which quoted him as saying that he was facing a threat to his life from Jagan Mohan Reddy. He also condemned dragging of his name into a controversy by linking him with CBI Joint Director VV Laxminarayana by former minister Y S Vivekananda Reddy earlier this month.
