2012/3/12 6:19:50 The merger of Praja Rajyam Party into the Congress in the State Legislative Assembly has been formalised.
Making the announcement in the House on Monday, Speaker Nadendla Manohar said that the PRP has become non-existent in the State Legislative Assembly. Interestingly, president of erstwhile PRP and Tirupati MLA K Chiranjeevi was not present in the House when the Speaker made this announcement.

The MLAs and MLCs of the congress party from Telangana have been boycotting the assembly session for some time now. With members of the TRS and the TDP from Telangana too boycotting the session, the proceedings have been conducted sand any representative from Telangana.
The T Congress MLAs and MLCs have now decided to end their boycott and attend the Assembly session. This comes as a big jolt to the TRS. The TRS has been successful so far in uniting all the Telangana legislators but with the latest move, the TRS stand has been diluted a lot.
Will TRS allow Cong and TTDP to steal its limelight?
2011/7/24 21:32:50 So far, TRS which enjoys upper hand in Telangana agitations and dictating terms to Cong and TDP in this regard, for the 1st time has been overpowered by both the parties with their new strategies. TTDP recently had a successful Bus Yatra in the Telangana and received an overwhelming response from the people for it. Then, it comes out with a separate new flag for its Telangana wing and plans to spearhead with it in the region to regain its lost glory.
On the other hand, Cong leaders who until now were under TRS and its leader KCRs influence has finally comes out of it and ready to bounce back to the region with their new flag and new strategies to grab the show.
Need not to say that TRS cant sit quite allowing the TDP and Cong. to steal its limelight that was built with years of hard efforts. Undoubtedly, this will leads to a big fight between the TRS, Cong and TDP. Unless, they avoid the clash between themselves and move united all their agitations will go into drain.

2008/4/2 6:58:43 The no confidence motion moved by the Telugu Desam Party has been taken up in the assembly yesterday. The debate however has been sidetracked completely. The MLAs are instead using the opportunity given to debate the issue by making wild and irresponsible legations against one another.
The language used by some members has come as a surprise to the common man. The politicians have reduced themselves to jokers. Their behavior is like some street brawl.
Their conduct in the assembly is being telecast live and witnessed by lakhs of people. But still there is no change in the way they are fighting against each other verbally. All the valuable time of the assembly session is being wasted on some silly and personal allegations against one another.
The way they are conducting themselves in the assembly, it is actually the people, who should be moving a no confidence motion against the elected representatives.
