Jagan phobia in Congress party

The century old Congress party has no candidates to field against YS.Jagan Mohan Reddy in the Kadapa by-elections. Although, it managed to pull out Kandhula brothers out from Telugu Desam party it couldnt convince them to contest against YS.Jagan Mohan Reddy in Kadapa Lok Sabha constituency. The Jagan phobia is so immense in the Congress party, that many of the senior Congress leaders are avoiding direct contact with Chief Minister Kiran Kumar Reddy and PCC president D.Srinivas, fearing a request from them to take upon YS.Jagan Mohan Reddy in the by-elections.

Finally, Chief Minister makes his own minister Dr.DL.Ravindra Reddy as scapegoat in this issue. Earlier, several times DL has thrown challenges to Jagan Mohan Reddy to face him if he can in the elections. Now, though he is not all interested, he was forced to contest against Jagan for the same reasons.

There were times when many of the Congress leaders have repeatedly stated that, Kadapa district is not Jagans own property and even if an office peon stands on Congress behalf, he can win in the elections in Kadapa. Congress is going to wipe off Jagans newly launched political party in these by-elections and so on. But, when it comes to reality the situation is different. No one is available for Congress party to take upon Jagan. What if, YS.Vivekananada Reddy too denies to contest in the elections?

Cong, TDP hit by Jagan-phobia: YSR Cong

2012/3/10 6:50:05 The YSR Congress party on Saturday said that the ruling Congress and main opposition TDP leaders were hit by Jagan-phobia ahead of the by-elections in the State.

Describing both the parties as sinking boats, YSR Congress party spokesperson Gattu Ramachandra Rao said that the parties were jittery ahead of by-polls as their base was eroding fast. “Chief Minister and Congress president failed to draw crowds and had to bring in recording dancers to hold the public while TDP is spending more on liquor at Kovur,” he alleged.

Talking to reporters here Gattu said that on International Women’s Day there were dances that belittle the dignity of women at a platform where Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy was to speak and he did not even convey his apology to the women for the goof-up. Being an import, he has lost contact with people, he said.

Ramchandra Rao also demanded a white paper on the welfare schemes it has taken up along with the ones implemented during the YSR's term.

The results of March 18 by-polls will reflect on the ensuing elections to 17 assembly seats which will set the pace for the 2014 battle, he said adding that the principal parties will be vying only for the second spot all through. (INN)

Congress gripped with Jagan phobia: YSRC

2012/4/18 8:14:11 Hyderabad, April 18 (INN): The Congress Party is gripped with Jagan phobia and the leaders are running helter-skelter to stall his popularity rating with leaders shuttling between the State capital and Delhi which is a vain exercise, YSR Congress party said here on Wednesday.

“Totally ignoring governance and people’s issues, Congress party is desperate to stall the onward march of YS Jagan Mohan Reddy and the disorder in its own house is sending clear signals that the 100-year old Party is on the way to be extinct,” YSRC spokesperson Gattu Ramachandra Rao told reporters.

When a senior leader like Vaylar Ravi comes to town, Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy goes to Delhi to consolidate his position. State Congress president Botsa Satyanarayana is ignored and Vayalar Ravi is closeted with Chiranjeevi, who recently merged his PRP with Congress.

“Congress slipped into an abyss, the moment it disowned YSR and his family members. They tried every trick in the book, from raising objection to unveiling YSR statues to raking up caste and creed equations to filing of cases, but nothing seems to be working and the writing is clear on the wall about its unpopularity.

This panicked the Delhi bosses who woke up and are trying to set things right. The disarray in State Congress is only a symptom while the actual ailment lies in Delhi as leader after leader is trying his hand without any success, Gattu said, adding that the confusion is a reflection of vindictive attitude shown towards YSR family members.

When one section within Congress was encouraged Jagan bashing, some leaders who claimed that YSR is a great leader were silent and never spoke. “This clearly shows that there is lot of confusion in the Party as no categorical stand was taken on it. We have seen in the previous elections that Congress leaders went to polls with YSR photo and not on Sonia Gandhi image.

Even Prime Minister Dr Man Mohan Singh had acknowledged YS Rajasekhar Reddy as the most efficient and popular Chief Minister and when the Congress Party does a turn-around on the issue, people will teach a fitting lesson.

“We have seen the results of the by-elections after the death of YSR. The results will be the same in the ensuing by-elections and the 2014 general elections with Congress and TDP facing a rout,” he said.

First wicket falls in Jagan camp

    2011/4/12 5:41:15

The congress party is going all out in Kadapa to defeat Jagan at any cost. The congress party election managers are of the view that the only way to take on Jagan successfully would be by targeting at his MLAs.

Therefore, big operation has been on in Kadapa. The congress won the first round when it managed to wean away the Budwel MLA Kamalamma from the Jagan camp.

Kamalamma had been supporting Jagan for some time but she has now suddenly gone back to the congress.

With this, the first wicket has fallen in the Jagan camp.

    Congress helping Jagan!!

    2011/2/3 4:41:44

The move by the congress party high command to rope in Chiranjeevi into the party is seen as a move that is only likely to help YS Jagan.

The reason is simple. With Chiranjeevis entry into the congress, at least four ministerial berths and other party posts will go to the PRP. It means that those congressmen who have been waiting patiently to be accommodated in the cabinet or part will only feel frustrated and think about joining Jagans party.

No wonder the Jagan camp is happy with the development and is even welcoming it.

2011/11/24 15:09:05 Congress MLA Anan Vivekananda Reddy on Thursday said that the party would not allow Kadapa MP YS Jagan Mohan Reddy to return to the Congress party.

Talking to reporters at the Congress Legislature Party office, Anam said that the party would not welcome Jagan's re-entry into Congress party, under any circumstances. However, he said the possibilities of Jagan returning to Congress are weak. He said the Congress MLAs who joined the YSR Congress party could return to the parent party anytime.

Anam said that Jagan has started losing the faith of legislators who joined him after leaving the Congress party. He said previously about 30 MLAs were supporting the YSR Congress party. The number has now reduced to 20 MLAs. He said the number could reduce to just 10 in the next few days.

This statement is also published in Jagans Sakshi news paper in its todays edition. Is he indicating that, all this Congress-mark treatment is given to Jagan all these days to make him kneel down before it asking for mercy?

If so, his statement also proves that what ever Jagan told about being harassed is true and the court cases and CBI inquiries is part of Congress party game? Diwakars statement also assures that, all the cases and inquiries will dissolves into air once he returns to the Congress party. Is he luring Jagan Mohan Reddy to return home?

We have to wait for Jagans reaction in this regard to understand whether he wants to go ahead with his party or return to Congress succumbing to harassment.

2012/5/12 7:09:57 Hyderabad, May 12 (INN): Primary Education Minister S Sailajanath on Saturday slammed YSR Congress party president and Kadapa MP Jagan Mohan Reddy for claiming that the elected representatives have sacrificed their posts in protest against government's anti-farmers' policies in the State.

Talking to media persons at the Congress Legislature Party office, Sailajanath dismissed the arguments of Jagan group and said that Jagan and his supporters have no moral right to speak on 'sacrifices' and 'trust'. He said that Jagan has quit the Congress party as the Congress High Command has refused to give him Chief Minister's post after the death of his father and former chief minister Y S Rajasekhara Reddy.

Sailajanath said that some Congress MLAs supported Jagan Mohan Reddy as he lured them with money. Stating that YSR continued as a loyal Congress party worker till his last breath, he said that YSR would have continued in the Congress if he was alive. He asked Jagan whether YSR wrote any will to establish new party against the Congress.

Stating that the YSR Congress party still lacks a clear policy, he accused Jagan of copying Congress schemes and development programmes to come to power in the State. He advised leaders to think twice before joining the YSR Congress group considering the dubious image of Jagan and his involvement in accumulation of illegal wealth.

Congress mark hurdles for Jagans new party

    2010/12/26 0:31:24

We are aware that, YS Jagan Mohan Reddy has announced that he is launching a new political party very soon. He has chosen three titles for his new party- YSR Party, YSR Congress party and YSR Praja party. Out of three he said to prefers the first one YSR party which always reminds the people about his late father and his popularity.

But, surprising news is waiting for him at EC office in New Delhi. Yesterday, when his representatives in New Delhi went to Election Commission to register these three titles for Jagans upcoming party, the concerned officials have told them that, already all the three titles were registered by some unknown persons and its difficult to find out the whereabouts of the persons who registered those titles. Unless, they were found and convinced to transfer their registered name for Jagans party, its not possible to allot any of those three titles for Jagans party.

The state congress party which claims of owning late YSR and his popularity, might have cooked this idea of registering all the probable titles that Jagan plans to have it for his new party. At the same time, this will detaches him from his fathers name and his influence. Is this not a congress mark politics?

Senior Congress leader and Member of Parliament Sabbam Hari who until now seems to be in dilemma over his interest with YS.Jagan Mohan Reddy has finally swings towards him. He will be leaving for Kadapa on Friday along with two ex MLAs and a Congress corporater from Visakhapatnam city to campaign for YSR Congress party.

It would be a set back for Congress party which has just served notices to four of its dissident MLAs for supporting Jagan Mohan Reddy. As the elections are closing in, many more from Congress party are expected to come open supporting Jagan Mohan Reddy, which can be considered as YSRCs strategy for the by-elections.

    Big shock for Jagan

2011/3/24 1:34:22 It will be a terrible shock for YS.Jagan Mohan Reddy and his group, to know that one of their recently elected MLC has changed his stand and jumped into Congress camp. With the MLC results announcement, everyone thought that the political game in the state was over. But, it is not yet over in Chittur district.

Senior Congress leader Peddi Reddy Ramachandra Reddy of Chittur constituency who is known as rebel in the Congress party is opposing Chief Minister K.Kiran Kumar Reddy since a long. He is known to be Jagans camp till yesterday. But, he has suddenly changed his stand and announced that, in fact he is not in Jagans camp anytime and still is in Congress party. He said he oppose CM KKR and not the Congress party.

Hence, Desai Tippa Reddy the MLC candidate whom he supported and made win the MLC elections is also not fall into Jagans group. Instead, with the latest statement they now belong to Congress party only, thus raising the Congress MLC count from 3 to 4.

He also blamed Jagan for telling the people that, he and Desai Tippa Reddy belongs to his group. It is because Jagan has his own media networks and thats why he created this kind of rumors, said Peddi Reddy. With this sudden development, Jagan has lost one successful candidate from his list.

Congress plans to expel Konda Surekha first?

2011/1/12 19:48:50 Congress high command which helplessly watched its MLAs standing beside Jagan in his recent Jala Deeksha held under its nose in New Delhi, has finally decided to initiate action against the decedents. But, since it fears its action may provoke Jagans camp which in return may lead to collapse of the state Government, Congress is making cautious steps in tackling the Jagans followers inside the party. First of all it plans to expel Konda Surekha, the former minister and the die hard follower of Jagan from the party and await for the reaction from Jagans camp, before taking any further steps in that direction.

On the other end Jagans camp is also patiently waiting for this out come from Congress party, so as it need not carry the blame of destabilizing the government. If, the Congress expels its MLAs from the party, it not only collapses the Government on its own but at the same time it helps Jagans camp to bag sympathy and praises. Then, Jagan can go to people and state that, he kept his promise of giving support to the state Government, but it has axed on its own will by expelling his father-selected-MLAs from the party. This is exactly what Congress doesnt want to happen for Jagan. This Tom and Jerry show will continue further as long either of the party loose its patience.

Jagan and his mother need Counseling: Shankar Rao

    2011/3/13 7:02:57
The self acclaimed Minister Shankar Rao who proudly describes himself as loyal dog of madam Sonia Gandhi, has assuring his party and his high command that, if he is given permission to negotiate with YS.Jagan Mohan Reddy, surely he can bring him back into the Congress party with in ten days and without fail. He said, so many small parties have emerged earlier only to merge into ocean like Congress party. It is only a matter of time to see Jagans newly launched YSRC party merge into Congress party. He described Jagan as a confused child missing in the crowds. He assured that, if Jagan come back to Congress party, he can lead the party to success.

So, Jagan and Sonia madam should understand that, Shankar Rao is more capable than they both as he can influence them both, if given him a chance. But, unfortunately the Congress high command seems to be not in a mood to utilize his valuable services. So, in the mean time, if this arrogant minister could concentrate on his portfolio and influence it to deliver better results, people of the state would thank him a lot for doing some work in the Government.

Just in: Shankar Rao right now is stating on a News Channel that, Jagan and his mother Vijaya Lakshmi need counseling and he is the only one person capable to do that job.
