Amitabh Bachchan’s ‘angry young man’ image not only helped him to ascend the ladder of success but also highlighted him as a sculpted actor. His iconic image which came through films like ‘Zanjeer’, ‘Deewar’, ‘Trishul’, ‘Kala Paththar’, etc, became a benchmark and gave a new dimension to his career.
The 61 year old actor is all set to reprise his Angry Young Man look which had such far-reaching cultural impact and is ready to get into the garb of an old man for his forthcoming film ‘Bbuddah Hoga Terra Baap’.
The film is produced by A B Corp in association with Viacom 18. Puri Jagganath will be directing the movie.
It is believed the movie is a rom-com starring Hema Malini and south actress Charmee in lead role opposite Big B. Rumour has it that the movie will present AB at his iconic best and is sure to recreate his old towering image in a brand new avatar of an ‘angry old man’ although the film will have a lot of comedy in it. Big B will be seen as a short tempered old man who gets angry easily. Blogging about the film Bachchan said, “Its official now. The title of the next AB Corp production will be spelt “BBUDDAH”, with the tag line … ‘hoga terra baap!’ Just making sure it does not mingle with Gautam Buddha, the saint,” said Amitabh while showing his concern that audience might get misguided by its title.

We all get angry at one time or the other. Some get angry a number of times every day. While some shout and throw things around to give vent to their anger, some just keep it within themselves and this only leads to frustration and ill health.

Shreyas Talpade shares his bonding with King Khan during the making of ‘Om Shanti Om’
Shahrukh ‘King’ Khan is notorious for landing up hours late for shoots, but for a day during the shoot of ‘Om Shanti Om’ (‘OSO’), he actually deigned to come earlier than required. If anyone should take credit for this unprecedented act, it is Shreyas Talpade, who also stars in the film.
“Actually, I had an early morning flight to Bangkok, and we had a whole night’s shooting schedule ahead. Just as I was fretting over how I would make it on time to the airport, both Shah Rukh and Farah Khan (director) came over to me. SRK assured me than he would come earlier than planned, and wrap up the shooting early, so that I could make it,” Shreyas says.
“It was so nice of him to be so considerate. He and Farah even helped me decide, which spots I should take my wife to in Bangkok,” he beams. When asked about Farah’s alleged dictatorial ways on the sets, Shreyas laughs it off, saying “Farah used to get angry and frazzled. But honestly, she looked so cute when she was angry that Shah Rukh and I enjoyed bugging her just to see her fly into a rage.”
So, now that he has moved on to bigger films, does he consider himself in the big league? Shreyas is modest when he says, “Well, maybe the film is in the big league, but as for me, I will only be satisfied when there is a positive reaction from the audiences to the film.”

New Delhi, Oct 14 (IANS) Bollywood heartthrob Shahid Kapoor is fuming over reports claiming that he was spotted kissing actress Anushka Sharma.
"Extremely distasteful story today ...some journalists need to really understand where to draw the line between imagination and Reality," Shahid wrote on microblogging site Twitter.
"Sad. Unfair. Makes me angry. If nothing else they need to respect the dignity of a girl !!!!! I usually don't react to any of these stories but this one was just a bit much," he wrote.

AG:It has been quiet overstated big budget family drama that one sees now a days. What are your views?
SK : Some are succesful and some are unsuccessful.
AG: What do you think of them ?
SK: I think, some are made very well. Some do very well. Even I was one of them.
AG: True
SK: And it was very successful because it clicked and the script was superb.
AG: What was it about? Was it the angry young man, the rebel in the system?
SK: No, it became after the publicity, the story of an angry young man, before that, it was just a family story.
AG: But was it real? Today's family drama are not real.
SK: I don't seem many films.
AG: You don't see Karan Johar's films?
SK: I can't say that.
AG: You can't say about that? I want to know, what you think of him?
SK: What I am saying is that I can't comment on these kind of films because I don't see much movies.
AG: Don't be too diplomatic about that.
SK: I have to be diplomatic about it.
AG: No, you don't have to be.
SK: I am sure that these boys will one day make very good films.
AG: I think, you don't think too highly of these new breed of film makers?
SK: The problem in today's times is the advent of technology. They get so carried away by the technology and the scale of filming it that content is lost somewhere down the way. So, they don't go for the content but make the movie very nice.It is very good salesmanship. For instance, Sanjay Leela Bhansali made a beautiful film like 'Black'. I respected him after he made that film. However, before that he was just a good film maker. Even the film that he made with Salman Khan and Aishwarya Rai was interesting. I enjoyed it, but it wasn't great but Black was. I think, only few people can do that kind of thing and I am just waiting for that to happen.

A few days back, I learnt that some actresses are managing their films and painting as a hobby. Now, I keep suggesting the same thing to Esha as well, but she is only interested in Bollywood," says Hema, looking a tad worried.
When it comes to younger daughter Ahana, Hema says, "She is studying film direction and doesn't like it if I divulge much about her. And if the details are not completely right, she gets very angry."
Like mother, like daughter? After all, Hema is not the most forthcoming interviewee as well. Ask her about her political career and all she is ready to say is, "I am a parliamentarian and not a politician. I am an artiste and prefer to remain just that."

Salman Khan is apparently quite upset about the questions being raised on a TV trade show about his next release 'Ready'. Reportedly, the show has been discussing if the movie will meet the massive expectations from it, and if it is being sold at too high a price.
Allegedly, the show has also highlighted that the company behind 'Ready' has had a bad box-office run recently (with movies like 'Kajra Re' and 'Patiala House'), and that Salman-Asin's last movie 'London Dreams' flopped as well.

If, he gathers necessary funds and can get the dates of choice of his director, soon we may hear news about his multi starrer film.
