Jeevitha gives big shock to Ganga Bhavani!
2008/5/20 2:16:10 Film actress and wife of hero Dr. Rajashekar , Jeevitha has finally announced that she was ready to take the plunge into politics. Rajashekar and Jeevitha visited Triumala this morning and had darshan of Lord Venkateswara Swamy.
After coming out of the temple, Jeevitha interacted with the waiting media personnel. She did not disappoint them and said that she is game for any responsibility given by the congress.
Jevitha also claimed that many people are already addressing her as the new President of the Andhra Pradesh Mahila Congress.
Jeevitha also said that se would contest the next assembly elections if the congress party gives her a ticket.
Jeevitha’s comments have come as a big shock to the present Congress Mahila chief Ganga Bhavani. It now remains to be seen how she will ‘react’ to Jeevitha’s utterances now.

Jeevitha and Rajashekar are shocked at the murderous attack on them by Chiranjeevi fans. Jeevitha says that there is no security for their life from Chiru fans. Jeevitha and daughter Shivani were injured and had to undergo treatment at Apollo hospital.
Jeevitha has filed a complaint against the fan under various sections. The fans were armed with many dangerous weapons and the children of Rajashekar are terrified after the attack. Megastar Chiranjeevi rushed to the residence of Rajashekar and Jeevitha ass soon as he learnt about the attack on them. Chiranjeevi fans attacked the family of Rajashekar at Punjagutta when they were returning from Bhimavaram.
Chiranjeevi went to Rajashekar's residence along with Allu Aravind. Chiranjeevi met the two daughters' of Rajashekar and enquired bout their health.

Chiru meets Rajashekar, tenders apology

Chranjeevi rushed to the residence of Rajashekar and Jeevitha after learning about the attack on them. Chiranjeevi waited for more than an hour as Rajashekar and Jeevitha were not at home when he went there. Allu Aravind was with Chiranjeevi.
Chiranjeevi spoke with Rajashekar And Jeevitha for about 10 minutes. The encounter was very emotional. Chiranjeevi expressed his deep regret over the incident. He asked Rajashekar to forgive him for the attack. He said that he was not aware how his fans resorted to such a thing.
Rajashekar said that he was grateful for the swift response from Chiranjeevi. Rajashekar and Jeevitha said that Chiranjeevi has proved a point by his gesture of coming to their house.
Jeevitha appealed to the fans of Chiranjeevi to observe restraint and learn to tolerate critics. She said that Chiranjeevi was a very disciplined person and tackled every issue in a clam and quite manner.

The surrendered fans of Chiranjeevi who are alleged to have attacked Rajashekar and Jeevitha were presented in court today. The judge asked the police to keep them in custody for another five days.
There was a big crowd at the court premises when the 'fans' were presented before the judge.
A huge crowd consisting of fans of the megastar raised slogans in favour of Chiranjeevi - "Chiranjeevi Zindbad" and "megastar Zindabad" rent in the air for some time.
The fans are now in a depressed mood. They are both sorry and also ashamed. But they are not sorry for their act but sorry for the inconvenience their act caused to their megastar.
The fans are 'ashamed' as their attack made their megastar to go to Rajashekar's house and apologize to him. The fans feel that the word 'Sorry' is not there in the dictionary of the megastar and it was their over enthusiasm that made Chiranjeevi to bow his head in shame. The issue of attack on Rajashekar by Chiranjeevi fans refuses to die down. While Rajashekar appears to let the matter die a slow and natural death, his wife Jeevitha is however not in a mood to relent. She continues to make comments in the media.
Jeevitha wants the police to identify the fans who attacked them. She says that she would not rest until each end every person guilty of the attack on them is brought to book. Even after 24 hours after Chiranjeeevi tendered a public apology, Jeevitha is still seething with rage.

The media is however surprised at the complete silence of Nannapaneni Rajakumari and even Telugu Mahila chief Roja. The two never let go of an opportunity to come before the media on any subject under the sun.
It is believed that Nannapaneni is silent because the TDP chief had clearly instructed her and Roja not to go out in the open on any issue without permission. Actor Rajashekar and his wife Jeevitha do not seem to b satisfied with the public apology by Chiranjeevi. The megastar drove to the residence of Rajashekar this morning as soon as he learned about the attack on him.
Chiranjeevi pent over an hour at Rajashekar's residence. The two talked in private for about 15 minutes. They later addressed a press conference jointly. In his speech, Chiranjeevi repeatedly asked Rajashekar and Jeevitha to forgive him and said that he was tendering an unqualified apology for the behaviour of his fans.
But when everyone thought the issue had been settled amicably, Rajashekar raked it up once again. Hr addressed another press conference and once again blamed Chiranjeevi for the attack. The way Rajashekar is dragging the issue even after Chiranjeevi's public apology; it is now obvious that he is doing it at the behest of a political party.

Jogaih issue a blessing in disguise for Chiru

It is well aware that Dr Rajasekhar is always behind schedule for any press briefing or function. Leave alone whether he is the guest for other's function, or it is his own and personal meeting or function, he always comes late to the programme. He called for a press briefing and as per the invitation the scheduled time was 6 pm and as usual he came late at 7 pm. However, the scribes patiently waited for him as most of them knew about his late arrival. In fact, it was the success meet of his latest release 'Yevadaithe Naakenti'. The scribes are having a chit chat with Dr Rajasekhar and Jeevitha Rajasekhar.
When a scribe from a vernacular daily questioned the late arrival of Dr Rajasekhar even for his own function, that too a success meet which was a joyous occasion to share the joy with others, Dr Rajasekhar's ego got hurt and he became aggressive. More than the hero, it is his wife Jeevitha started shouting at the poor scribe as if they have come only to note down the points given by them and not to ask any questions.
This attitude irked all the scribes who walked out of the meeting. The meeting ended abruptly with nothing to talk about the film by the organisers.

Sri Hari's name is being considered to contest from the Musheeraad or Secunderabad constituency. Jaya Sudha's name was also floated but she is reported to have declined to contest the elections. The name of Jeevitha Rajashekaer is also doing the rounds to contest from Musheerabad constituency.

Industry divided and confused

The ugly row between Rajashekar-Jeevitha and Chiranjeevi fans is causing a big headache to the members of the film fraternity. The fact is that the film industry would like the issue to die a natural death. Many actors and directors want Rajashekar to let bygones be bygones and leave the matter at that.
They point out that Chiranjeevi had tendered a public apology and so, it is not fair on the part of Rajashekar and Jeevitha to drag on the issue unnecessarily. The industry is already deeply divided along community lines and the present murky episode is only likely to compound it.

2012/5/6 8:07:57 Tirupati, May 6 (INN): Actor couple Jeevitha and Dr Rajasekhar on Sunday claimed that they were already a part of the Congress party.
Talking to reporters after having darshan of Lord Venkateswara at Tirumala Tirupathi Devasthanam, the couple dismissed the reports that they were planning to join some other political party. They said it was incorrect to say that they would join the Congress, as they are already part it.
However, Rajasekhar admitted that they got the invitation from other parties to join them. However, they said they would stay in the Congress party and would campaign in the by-elections if party leaders direct them to do so.
It may be mentioned that the actor couple become closer to Jagan Mohan Reddy after the death of YSR Rajasekhara Reddy. However, they did not join the YSR Congress after its formation. Similarly, after giving some feelers the couple also stayed away from the Telugu Desam Party.

Chiru fans attack Rajashekar
2008/1/27 22:26:20 The fans of megastar Chiranjeevi attacked actor Rajashekar at Punjagutta this morning. The shocked actor had great difficulty in getting away from the menacing crowd. The fans attacked the car with rods and other deadly weapons. Rajashekar and his daughter Shivani were injured in the attack. Shivani was admitted to Apollo hospital where she was treated for injuries and later discharged.
The mob attacked Rajashekar and Jeevitha when they were coming in a train. The first attack took place at Guntur railway station. Later they faced an attack at Secunderbad railway station. The attack by Chirnjeevi fans is over a comment made by Rajashekar yesterday.
Rajashekar responded to a question by a reporter at Bhimavaram. Rajashekar said that Chiranjeevi does not have any political experience. He also said that in a democracy everyone had a right to start a political party. But it did not mean that just because he happens to come from the film industry, everyone from the film industry should back him blindly.
