The unit members of the film ‘Billa’ are currently in Malaysia for shooting for the film. The film is being produced by L Suresh and directed by Vishnuvardhan.

'Prince' injured in car chase

Prince Mahesh Babu has not commenced work on his new film after Athidhi. The name of his new film is yet to be announced. He is meanwhile taking his time off to shoot for a commercial for a soft drink company.
Mahesh Babu is in Malaysia shooting for Thums Up. There is a big car chase scene where Mahesh is seen racing past many vehicles in a bid to catch up with a truck carrying Thums Up. This ad will be aired shortly.
Prince does not even care several injuries to his body till he gets hold of a bottle of his favourite drink, Thums Up. He is shown with a fractured right hand cast in a plaster mould, a collar around his injured neck, bandages on his forehead and other places.
Despite so many injuries, Prince Mahesh Babu is seen smiling with no sign of pain, with a bottle of the soft drink in has hand! You have guessed it right. All this is part of the ad for the soft drink. Mahesh Babu has not been injured in any way and he is hale and hearty.

Priyanka Chopra to Flag Off Malaysian Grand Prix

This Sunday's Grand Prix in Sepang, Malaysia, will have Bollywood's sizzling beauty and former Miss World Priyanka Chopra flagging off the event along with Hollywood director Steven Spielberg and actor Leonardo Di Caprio among others.
Apart from getting the season's second F1 event off to a roaring start, Priyanka has been personally invited by Prime Minister Abdullah Bin Ahmad Badawi of Malaysia to attend a grand sit-down dinner that's happening tonight prior to the event.
Priyanka has been a frequent visitor to Malaysia as she has shot for several of her films there and the people of Malaysia too are extremely taken up by her. Priyanka will also attend a grand formal sit down dinner along with some high profile people prior to the event.
Priyanka was extremely honoured to be invited for the event and says, “I am very excited to be invited to Malaysia for such a grand event. It is also special since the invite has come straight from the Prime Minister, I feel very humbled.”
Priyanka will also get to hobnob with Hollywood stars and she says, “I am also excited to meet Steven Spielberg and the other Hollywood personalities.”
Priyanka is fond of Formula 1 racing, but unfortunately the actress does not get much time to watch the sport. Priyanka’s brother though is a great fan of the sport and keeps her updated.
Priyanka considers Malaysia and the people out there close to heart as she has done many films in Malaysia and she says, “I have been shooting here for my films and Malaysia is like my home away from home.”

We did hear about actor Tusshar Kapoor missing his flight for an award show in Malaysia. But the exact reason for this ‘miss’ isn’t quite clear. When we got in touch with the actor, he told us, “I was shooting in Pune and had an 11:00 p.m. flight for Malaysia from Bombay. But I missed my flight from Pune itself and had to drive down, so there was no way I could make it on the flight to Malaysia. That’s all there is to it. I wasn’t re-routed or anything; I had a direct flight and nor was there any case of starry tantrums! I really wanted to be there, but it was only unfortunate that I couldn’t.” Well, to set the records straight, that’s the story from the horse’s mouth, then!

It is understood that Mahesh went to Dubai to get some peace of mind. Mahesh’s film Khaleja did not do well at the box offic3e and all the comment and criticism has left him flabbergasted.
So Mahesh has decided to go to Dubai and relax and prepare for his next flick Dookudu. The film will be directed by Srinu Vytla.

According to the leaked version, the story goes like this. Mahesh plays an auto driver. When he sees some goons teasing the heroine and trying to outrage her modesty; Mahesh follows them and bashes them up.
He enters a village along with the heroine. The village has several problems and Mahesh slowly solves the problems in his own style. One day the heroine goes missing.

Prince Mahesh Babu who is known to be a recluse was forced to come out and meet the press. The reason is the divided talk that has come out after the release of Khaleja.
Mahesh Babu’s last film Athdihi also did not fare well at the box office. Khaleja has come after a gap of three years and hence he cannot afford to have another flop.
So Mahesh has come out and is now desperately promoting his film. Mahesh defended all the vulgar dialogues in the film saying that they made sense as they look authentic!
What Mahesh said was that since cab drivers use foul language he used the same in the film! The can drivers are certainly not amused.

Sex manual banned in Malaysia

(IANS/AKI) Malaysia has banned a book by a controversial group that advocates group sex and says wives should act like hookers to spice up the marriage.
A group known as the Obedient Wives' Club will no longer be able to publish the book which was a kind of manual intended to be read only by members.
Abdul Aziz, a high-ranking official in the home ministry's censor division, was cited by the Malaysia Star newspaper as saying the book would be banned because its content infringed censorship laws.
The ban slaps the equivalent of a $1,600 fine and up to three years in jail for anybody who publishes the book.
The Obedient Wives' Club is associated with the prohibited al-Arqam religious sect.
The club had previously encouraged members' wives to behave like "high-class prostitutes" to keep other women from sharing a bed with their spouse.

Prince Mahesh Babu has agreed to star in a new film titled 'Varudu'. The tagline of the film is 'Vadhuvu Kavalenu'. UTV Motion pictures that entered Tollywood with the distribution of Mahesh Babu's film 'Athidhi' are producing this film. Mahesh Babu's sister Manjula will be the co-producer.
Trivikram Srinivas has been roped in to direct the film. Trivikram will also pen the story for the film. Work on the film is expected to commence in April. Mahesh Babu is also committed to acting in a film to be made by Jasthi Hemamber.
