The honeymoon between Maoists and TRS party has come to an end with the failure of month long general strike by Telangana employees headed by KCR and Prof. Kodhandaram. TDP has alleged that, both of they have pledged the Telangana agitation to Center to bag Polavaram tenders. During the later period, media also reports the same. By latest, the North Telangana wing Maoist leader Jagan has heavily comes down on KCR and Prof. Kodhandaram on the same reasons. Leading Telugu daily Andhala Jyothi in its Friday's edition has published an article about their telephonic interview with Maoist leader Jagan.
In his interview given to AJ Jagan flays KCR and Prof. Kodhandaram for utilizing Telangana agitations to achieve their political goals. "KCR and all other Telangana leaders are bluffing the people with their fake resignation dramas and fake fights with Seemandhra leaders. When the New Delhi is ready to take a favorable decision on Telangana issue, KCR, Prof. Kodhandaram and Swamy Goud have withdraws the agitations to bag Polvaram Tenders. It is nothing but selling off the people's agitation.
TRS retards: Senior TRS leader Nayini Narisimha Reddy sharply reacting to Jagan's allegations, "They lost their identity in the state. That's why they make such allegations to reveal their presence. If, they think that we have betrayed the Telangana people, then why don't they come into mainstream and show their power? I don't think no one else could run the agitations like us. KCR and Prof. Kodhandaram have dedicated their lives for Telangana. Maoists would have refrain from making such allegations."
The verbal-war reaches its peak with some TRS leaders at Narayankhed Mandal in Medak district burning the effigy of Maoist leader Jagan.
2011/10/17 4:28:00 MRPS leader Mandha Krishna takes dig at TJAC Chairman Prof. Kodhandaram and TRS president KCR about the way of handling the agitations. Addressing the media, he asked why Kodhandaram has allows RTC to withdraw from the general strike, when he repeatedly told the people that no one will be spared from agitations until Telangana is formed. He also takes dig at T-RTC-JAC leader Aswatama, who opposed his colleague Mahmood's decision to withdraw from the strike few days ago. Mandha Krishna asks Aswatama, how much amount did he takes to withdraw from the general strike and how much amount Prof. Kodhandaram takes?
Mandha Krishna said "Prof. Kodhandaram, KCR and Co., have earned crores of rupees in the name of agitations while making poor people lives miserable. When, movie theaters and wine shops were spared from general strike, why should schools and colleges be closed? How much amount did you collected to allow the wine shops and theaters to spare from the agitations? When you both promised the people to fight until Telangana formation, then why did you gradually winding-up it before getting any announcement from Center and how much amount you got to wind-up the agitations?"
Mandha Krishna said if TRS and TJAC won't spare educational institutes from agitations, he is ready to confront with them.
2012/1/29 5:26:24 Maoist leader Jagan's allegations against TRS president KCR, T Political JAC Chairman Prof. Kodhandaram and Employees Union leader Swamy Goud for having secret pact with Congress party to defuse the month long strike in Telangana creates havoc in TRS circles. The vociferous leaders of the TRS party have spit fire on Jagan and the TRS workers have burnt his effigy in protest against his allegations. Some of them even tried to sling mud on Congress party and TDP accusing them that they have created and released the fake letter in the name Maoist leader Jagan.
But, to their surprise Maoist leader Jagan once again has come to media to confirm that the letter is written by him on his party behalf.
In his latest interview given to Andhra Jyothi news paper, he flayed TRS for cheating the Telangana people in the name of agitations. He questioned "Is, KCR alone is entitled to do agitations on Telangana cause and his agitations are only to be termed as Telangana agitations? We have been fighting for it since 1969. We have fighting to safeguard the interests of Tribal, who were chased out of their places Polavaram and Tiger Projects. What we demand anyone is to fight honestly on Telangana cause. But, this trio- KCR, Prof. Kodhandaram and Swamy Goud have cheated the Telangana people by abruptly stopping the agitation. While, the employees and the Telangana people have come forward to sacrifice everything for Telangana, this trio has cheated them by selling their agitation to Center and bagged Polavaram tenders. It is nothing but betraying the people. People shouldn't allow these Telangana traitors into their villages. Even, Congress leaders are also has been playing political games on this issue. We have published a detailed analysis in our 'Kranti' magazine' on their agitation and how they have cheated the Telangana people. Let the people realize the truth and teach them a lesson. The trio should know that if they continue with their practices, definitely one day people will teach them a lesson."
TRS president K.Chandrashekar rao speaking in a meeting held at Medak district said, “Once Telangana is separated we will implement naxal’s agenda in our State, so as naxals will come out of their agitation and join the main stream. Some people who envy the ‘T’ agitations are misguiding the people and the Centre by campaigning that, if Telangana is separated from the State then it will go into the hands of naxals, thus creating unrest in the country. That’s why we plan to implement naxal’s agenda in our new State and wipe off the naxalism from our State.”
This statement itself spells what is in his mind. He might be dreaming to become first CM of the Telangana State. Even before there is any progress about forming the new State, KCR is making this statement as if he already becomes the CM of the New State! Otherwise, how can he speak like this on behalf of a new State?
2011/10/21 1:57:18 TJAC Chairman Prof. Kodhandaram, who until now enjoyed limelight with month-long general strike is facing severe criticism from some employees unions, pro-Telangana people and leaders. Today, Telangana People Associations' JAC leaders have staged picket before Prof. Kodhandaram's house in Tarnaka, Hyderabad, demanding his explanation on why he has has called-off the general strike without getting any favorable announcement from Center on Telangana issue. Association Chairman Gajjela Kantham leads the protest before Prof. Kodhandaram house.
Speaking to media GK said "Prof. Kodhandaram is behaving like another Chenna Reddy these days. We want to know why Prof. Kodhandaram went to New Delhi when no one has invited him to come. He might have a secret package from Center and that's why, he all of a sudden has called off the month-long strike without serving its purpose.
While GK and his team is staging picket before Prof. Kodhandaram house, with the arrival of some TRS leaders and their followers to the place, creates tension between the two groups. Both shouted slogans against each other and police have dispersed both groups. Later, police have arrested some followers of GK.
2011/10/7 6:02:36 TJAC Chairman Prof. Kodhandaram has just announced that the Rail Roko program planned for 9th, 10th and 11th is postponed to 12th, 13th and 14th to enable T Employees hold Maha Dharna and TJAC's visit to Singareni.
2011/10/18 2:51:14 While KCR and Prof. Kodhandaram blames the Government for foiling their general strike, people across Telangana region blames KCR and Prof. Kodhandaram for leading them to nowhere and for making their lives miserable with their agitations.
Neither KCR nor Prof. Kodhandaram or any of the political leaders of TRS party have lost nothing in this 36 day long general strike but, its employees and the people who lost heavily and suffered in the strike.
While, these agitations and strikes are considered to be part of the political profession for TRS, T Congress leaders and to Prof. Kodhandaram, it unbalanced the lives of the people both in Telangana and rest of the state.
Students, business houses, industries, power sector, transport and many other sectors in the region and in the State were crippled with the month long strike. The huge financial losses occurred because of the month long strike will be ultimately transferred to the people only.
The adverse affects of their strike yet to show its impact on the people of the state.
Although, Prof. Kodhandaram declares general strike will continue despite RTC, Singareni and Teachers deserted them, it is learnt that they are planning to slow down their agitations till Diwali festival to allow the people refresh their mood and so as they need not to beg the people to co-operate for the bandhs that they declare every other day on one reason or the other.
However, KCR and Prof. Kodhandaram's failure to get a favorable announcement from Center on Telangana and the way the general strike abruptly ends without any result will make the people to think twice before following the orders of KCR and Prof. Kodhandaram in the future.
Finally, KCR and Prof. Kodhandaram lost in their political game and made the people and the state victims in it.
2011/8/8 0:09:20 A lawyer named Krishnayya has filed a petition in High Court on Monday asking the court to take action against TRS president KCR and TJAC Chairman Prof. Kodhandaram for giving frequent bandh calls which disturbs the normal life of people. Responding to his petition, HC has served notices to both to submit their explanation with in two weeks. Later, the court has adjourned the case for two weeks.
2011/8/14 22:28:14 The ongoing Telangana agitations have given birth to number of JACs all over the state, which are now virtually running a parallel Government in the state. They decides when to work and when to go on bandh on day to day basis, which makes peoples’ lives miserable. Telangana political JAC Chairman Prof. Kodhandaram is one among those several JAC leaders who nowadays dictates what to do, when to do and how to do etc to the Government and its Ministers.
He asked the Telangana Ministers to boycott the official flag hoisting functions and surprisingly many of the Ministers obeying his orders absconds this official function. He said it is not fair to share this event with Andhra rulers. Kodhandaram being a professor is expected to develop patriotic feelings in the people. But, he is found sowing seeds of poison and encourages the leaders to abscond from their primary duty of flag hoisting and sadly there is no one to object him.
2011/10/10 1:12:06 TJAC Chairman Prof. Kodhandaram speaking to media has said there is question of withdrawing or postponement of general strike. He said the strike will continue until a favorable decision is made on Telangana by center. He asked the people to fight united and not to loose confidence in the nick of the moment. He said the Government is trying to stop the general strike. TJAC will extend its full support to 'Maha Dharna' planned for tomorrow by Telangana Employees.
2011/4/27 21:17:23 Political T-JAC chairman Prof. Kodhandaram has announced the formation of ‘Friends of Telangana’ at central level. He said that, several national level leaders like Rajnath Singh, Saradh Yadav will be the members of this friends group. He expects the 13 members of this group will extend their co-operation at central level in getting statehood for Telangana. Prof. Kodhandaram has requested these opposition leaders to introduce and support a bill for Telangana.
2012/1/20 7:52:10 Once again the Telangana political JAC has assembled at a meeting to discuss and chalk-out the action plan for achieving Telangana state. TRS president KCR, TJAC Chairman Prof. Kodhandaram, Kavita and many senior TRS leaders and leaders Employees Union JAC have attended this meeting being held at Hyderabad. Once, the JAC chalks-out an action plan, the next phase of Telangana agitations may start again. KCR and Prof. Kodhandaram have owed that the next phase of their agitations will be more rigorous than the previous ones.
2011/9/5 7:36:43 The expelled TDP leader Nagam Janardhan Reddy, who can’t find any political asylum until now has announced that, soon he is launching a new political party to fight for the Telangana cause. He flays the Telangana MLAs and other leaders for creating hurdles in Telangana state formation. He said his new political party will fight for the Telangana cause with complete dedication.
The film Virodhi starring Srikanth and Ajay in key roles hit the screens today. The film deals with a group of young naxals and their ideology. Srikanth plays the role of a journalist while Ajay plays the role of the leader of the naxal dalam.
The film is off beat and is a refreshing change from the run of the mills movies. The director also does not focus much on naxalite activities or robe deeper into their origin and ideology. He only tries to show how some youngsters tend to take up the path of violence in the name of ideology and naxaism and that some times it could be misguided.
Srikanth gives a good performance and his role is rather subdued. Ajay excels in his role as Gogi, the leader of a breakaway group of naxalites. The others too have done their bit. Virodhi is a decent attempt by Neelakanta and even though it lacks the so called commercial elements it still makes the film worth watching.
2011/7/8 22:20:39 Telangana Congress leaders who were in a very bad mood after their resignations have demanded to replace the present Chairman of TJAC Prof.Kodhandaram with Chukka Ramayya otherwise they are not willing to work together with TJAC anymore as it is running under the influence and guidelines of TRS party president K.Chandrashekar Rao.
On the other hand, Telangana TDP MLAs also makes similar demand and stated that, they are not goats to blindly follow the orders given by Prof.Kodhandaram who is acting as a hand in glove of KCR. They said when the TJAC is not interested to consult any of its members before announcing any decisions, then why should they work with it anymore.
Perhaps, this is why the TJAC is forced to cancel its plans of ‘Rail Rokos and Vanta Varpu’ picket programs announced by it. But, these developments also reveal the other side of the coin. All these parties are trying to take full advantage of the Telangana agitations and do not want others grab the show. They might be considering the Telangana issue as a stepping stone for their bright future. Hence, no one wants to let themselves stay behind in this race. We can see TDP’s Bus Yatra as a fine example for it. All the Telangana TDP MLAs soon after submitting their resignation letters to their posts have started touring across Telangana region to boast about their sacrifices and to bag public sympathy for it, while the Telangana Congress leaders are helplessly watching them grabbing the show.

YSR party president YS.Jagan Mohan Reddy during his one-day dharna at Narsapur demanding abolishing 5% VAT on textile business, flays the Government. Quoting Finance Minister Anam Rami Narayana Reddy, 'Our Minister has said that, the Government has introduced VAT on textiles just three months ago, where as actually it has comes into effect from July. I want to ask him whether he really know from when the VAT was levied on the textile business or is he trying to bluff the people with his ignorance? When the Government is collecting VAT from July that is six months back, then why is he trying to bluff the people with his statements?
"There should be a similar tax structure all over the country. I want to know, how our state Government justifies its decision of levying 5% VAT in our state only. So, I demand to abolish the VAT on textiles immediately or else we are going to intensify our agitations. It will end only after dethroning the present Government," said YS.Jagan Mohan Reddy.
2011/10/3 7:36:36 Political Joint Action Committee Chairman Prof M Kodandaram on Monday took serious objection over Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy attributing power shortage in the State to employees' general strike.
Talking to media persons, Kodandaram alleged that the Chief Minister was making false statements on power situation in the state and linking the power shortage unnecessarily to the general strike. He said that the Chief Minister was doing so cover up his inefficiency and incapability in handling the situation. He challenged the Chief Minister for open discussion on power shortage prevailing in the state.
Kodandaram asked the Chief Minister to disclose how much power was purchased this year and last year to meet the consumers' needs. Though many private firms are generating power in the state, instead of buying power from them, the government has been encouraging them to sell them in other states, he stated. He asked why the government did not take alternative measures after the strike notice was served.
The JAC chairman asked the farmers in the State to grill the elected representatives if the government fails to redress their power problem. (INN)
2011/8/31 2:23:47 Yesterday, Prof. Kodhandaram has told the media that they are thinking to postpone ‘all people strike’ scheduled for September 6th to September 13th to enable people celebrate Ganesh Navratri Festival. But, revolutionary singer and Praja Front leader Gaddar has told the media that his party opposes the decision of TJAC’s and continues its agitations as planned earlier. Hence, he asked the people of Telangana to start strike from September 6th as planned before.
2012/2/13 2:10:04 Bharatiya Janata Party floor leader G Kishan Reddy condemned Governor ESL Narasimhan's address to the joint session of legislative assembly and council on the inaugural day of budget session on Monday for lack of mention on Telangana.
Talking to reporters after the Governor's address, Kishan Reddy said that his party has boycotted the speech as he has deliberately avoided the mention of Telangana. He said the Congress party has promised to give statehood for Telangana in 2004 and against in 2009, Home Minister P Chidambaram made clear announcement that separate State would be carved out. However, he said the ruling party has been delaying a decision on Telangana, on one pretext or the other.
Accusing the Congress party of playing with the sentiments of people of Telangana, the BJP leader said that the prevailing peaceful atmosphere in the State was the right time to announce a decision on the statehood issue. Further, he said that the Governor's speech lacks clarity on several issues and therefore, it was not of any significant importance. (INN)
2011/10/12 6:33:41 MRPS leader Mandha Krishna got raged with KCR's statement about 'boot-polishers.' KCR said some leaders are behaving like 'boot-polishers' for CM Kiran Kumar Reddy, who is opposing the Telangana agitations.
Mandha Krishna speaking to media has said "KCR has insulted our community with his statement. Therefore, we demand an unconditional apology from him. Otherwise, we will massage him with our shoes. I warn KCR to hold his tongue and talk carefully, otherwise we will split his tongue. We strongly condemn for his statement. He should beg us apology or face consequences."
Mandha Krishna also demands KCR to exclude Educational Institutes and students from strikes and agitations. He gave a deadline of 24 hours to make announcement in this regard or else he warned to stage picket along with students' parents at Indira Park on Friday.
KCR and his aides may describe his ultimatum as a plan to create split in the agitation by Seemandhra leaders. KCR and Prof. Kodhandaram has reached to such a point that, they won't like to hear anything against their agitations including the appeals made by students' parents of their own region. If, TRS come to know about parents picketing, immediately its cadres will be deployed to terrorize the parents and the students.
KCR and Prof. Kodhandaram have turned very aggressive these days and desperately attacking whoever comes in their way. At the same time, they allege others of being aggressive towards them. TRS has adopted a new policy of attacking the others and making their victims responsible for it. Ultimately, both of they wants to continue the general strike at any cost, come the people of the region suffer anyway.
