Will oppose Cong. if it criticizes late YSR: Viveka

2012/4/9 4:39:14 The Congress party, which until tried to own former Chief Minister late YS.Rajashekar Reddy and his schemes, is ready to take 'U' turn on its stand. It is gearing-up to criticize him and his policies in the by-election campaign.

During the recent co-ordination committee meeting held by Chief Minister Kiran Kumar Reddy and cabinet ministers, it was decided to counter Jagan Mohan Reddy. But, Minister Veera Siva Reddy said it is not possible to counter Jagan Mohan Reddy, while supporting his father. So, the majority of the cabinet ministers have opined that it is better to disown and distance from late YSR, so as they can give a fitting reply to Jagan in the by-elections.

Obviously it irks YS.Vivekananda Reddy, younger brother of late YSR. He said, 'Even today, my brother is my role model and if the Congress party plans to go against, I will oppose and fight it out. It is not wise to distance from such a great leader who was once praised by one and all for his great leadership and welfare schemes. He is the one who brings the party to power for twice in the state and brings a huge support of MPs, with which the Center is surviving now. So, I will seriously oppose any kind of attempt to tarnish his image."
