Tomato Palak

Ingredients for Tomato Palak:

Cherry Tomatoes 12 Nos 

Small Onion chopped

Cream for Garnishing 

Oil 2 Tsp

Salt to taste

For Gravy:

Spinach chopped 1 bunch

Ginger 1/2 inch

Green chillies 2-3 

Water 1/2 Cup

 

Directions to cook Tomato Palak:

  • Wash the palak properly.
  • Microwave the gravy ingredients for 3 minutes. Cool & grind coarsely.
  • Heat oil in a frying pan.Fry the finely minced onion till golden brown.
  • Add whole tomatoes,salt & cook briefly and then pour in Gravy .
  • Add more water if it is too thick. Simmer  for 10 min or till done.
  • Drizzle slightly whipped cream on top. 
  • The recipe is now ready to be served with rice.
  • The gravy should be thick enough to serve along with rotis.
